Defining strategy

Context

Techask is product engineering team who create web apps and mobile apps from scratch. They also provide tech consulting and tech scaling for startups.

Techask needed a  fresh rebranding as old website didn't represent their experience well.

What we had

We had old version of design which was not representative and not really clear to partners and clients.

Challenges

  • We  understood that there were a lot of look-alike design for competitors agencies who could not stood out from the crowd.
  • We wanted to came up with a unique design system so it could be reusable for different marketing tools and channels (like email, presentations, case studies, client calls).
  • We did not see the whole UX structure for the start as the content was still in process.

We started our research from gathering competitors examples and Design-led companies

Analysed company size, type, marketing focus, pricing packages, Key Competitor Differentiators, Competitive Priority, Social presence, User reviews, PR and distribution channels.

In that way we had clear picture of trends, positioning, color schemes that seemed subjectively appealing.

Then we focused on details in:

  • Building design system
  • UX flow
  • Gathering content for the website (photos, icons, text)

Reflecting on the project outcome

What we did:

✅ Competitor analysis insights:

  • Identified gap in transparent pricing/timeline communication
  • Found opportunity in distributed team positioning (post-COVID advantage)
  • Discovered fintech specialization was underutilized differentiator

✅ Stakeholder feedback integration:

  • Validated service hierarchy with existing clients
  • Refined messaging based on partner feedback sessions
  • Iteratively improved technical terminology for target audience

As a result, we got:

✅ Design system impact on brand consistency

  • Established cohesive visual hierarchy across all service descriptions
  • Created reusable component system for future marketing materials
  • Developed scalable content structure for adding new services/case studies

✅ User experience optimisation:

  • Single-page architecture reduced user drop-off during service exploration
  • Industry-specific case studies increased credibility with target clients
  • Transparent timeline expectations (1-2 weeks) built trust vs competitors
